On Sunday morning the Redcoats faced the U13 Italian National team who eventually went on to win the tournament. There were no expectations for this game, but despite the heavy loss the Redcoats finished the game with their heads held high.
All three of the Redcoats pitchers did well. Starter Clarissa Camilleri struck out three and walked one in two innings pitched. Lara Buttigieg also struck out three and walked two, also in two innings pitched, whereas Courtney Attard registered her first strike out of her vary promising career.

Scoring two runs in the bottom of the final inning also helped the spirits of the girls from Gozo.
Distributing the souvenirs from VISIT GOZO to the Italian national team players and their coaches at the end of the game, as well as mingling with the all stars of Italian softball somewhat softened the disappointment from the loss for the Redcoats.
