RECAP

Redcoats Baseball finished the season on a negative note when they lost heavily to the first placed Mustangs this morning at the Gozo Stadium. The Redcoats fielded poorly and conceded to the Mustangs two big innings. The Redcoats also failed to get their bats going and were shutout for the first time this season. The loss killed the Redcoats’ slim hopes of finishing top of the table dropped their season record to five hundred. Considering that this was the Redcoats’ first experience with any form of the game, theirs was still a remarkable campaign that served to expose these players to this new sport.
