The mix of young boys and girls along with the more experienced youths is proving to be a successful one as significant improvements are taking place from one session to the next.

The Gozo Cup Softball Tournament will commence this coming Thursday, July 10 with a doubleheader at the Sannat Ground. The first pitch of the first game will be thrown at 6pm and will feature the 31st Athletics at the Leinster Royals. This will be followed by the game between the Leinster Royals at the Connaught Rangers.

The teams involved in this tournament had three practice sessions including several exhibition games between the three teams. This final such exhibition games took place on Monday, July 7. The mixture of young boys and girls along with the more experienced youths of the Club is proving to be a successful one as significant improvements are taking place from one session to the next. In addition, this is proving to be a wonderful experience to players and coaches alike.
