Ghajnsielem Redcoats & Shamrock Stars
On Tuesday, May 23, our basketball teams participated in the 4th basketball festival organised between the Redcoats and the Shamrock Stars. Once again this was a highly entertaining event for everyone involved. There was a remarkable improvement of our players and teams from the last such festival held in March. Well done to all the players and coaches Maria Angela Caruana, Cynthia Saliba and Anthony Mario Bajada.
This was a remarkable season for basketball in Gozo as we now have two clubs full of promising young stars. A massive well done to Sean Daly and the Shamrock Stars. We hope that both the Ghajnsielem Redcoats and the Shamrock Stars continue to grow in terms of numbers of participants as well as improvement in the level of their game. Many thanks to the parents for their continuing support. We’re all looking forward to next season.
