The Redcoats would like to thank the Ghajnsielem Local Council for their continuing support as well as the Ghajnsielem Football Club for granting free use of the recently resurfaced football ground

Today the Ghajnsielem Redcoats played their first ever softball game at home, in Ghajnsielem, at the Ghajnsielem Football Ground. For this occasion, Ghanjsielem Mayor, Mr Franco Ciangura, along with Vice Mayor, Mr Kevin Cauchi, were present and took part in the pre-game ceremony.

The Redcoats played a doubleheader against the Luxol Mustangs managed by Mr Patrick Pace. The two games were valid for the MABS Softball Minor League. Both coaches called up the players who lined up between 1st base and 3rd base on either side of the pitcher’s plate. Mr Franco Ciangura threw the ceremonial first pitch to start the first game. Both games were umpired by Mr Michael Grech.

The Redcoats would like to take this opportunity to thank the Ghajnsielem Local Council for their continuing support as well as the Ghajnsielem Football Club for granting free use of the recently resurfaced football ground. The games played in Ghajnsielem make it easier for those who follow the Redcoats to cheer on their favourite team.
