Overall it was a most enjoyable trip to Marsa for the mixed baseball team of the Għajnsielem Redcoats who will now host the combined team of Luxol and Dingli for another baseball festival this Wednesday, May 1st
The Għajnsielem Redcoats, the Luxol Mustangs and Dingli Softball organised an U13 Baseball Festival at the Marsa Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon. This was a most pleasurable experience for everyone involved. The Redcoats played against a combined team of Luxol and Dingli. There were many players on both teams who were experiencing playing baseball against an opponent for the first time, and this made the event even more special.
Both teams played well and there were several good hits especially from one of the Luxol players who managed to hit two home runs. Both teams also made some fine defensive plays to keep the game close until the very end. In the final inning it was Mustangs who managed to score two runs to come from behind to win the game.

The Redcoats will now host the combined team of Luxol and Dingli for another baseball festival this Wednesday, May 1st, at the Għajnsielem Ground. This will be the fourth edition of the May Day Baseball Festival for the Redcoats, which is always organised in collaboration with the Gozo Sports Board with the support of the Ministry for Gozo.
